Abstract
This master’s thesis examines how enterprises adopt blockchain to pursue business goals. Using the Technology–Organization–Environment (TOE) framework, it explains the technology, its mechanisms, enterprise applications, and suitable implementations; draws on a quantitative survey plus consultations and interviews with industry experts; and proposes a method for evaluating blockchain adoption across company segments, including where firms apply it, how far adoption has progressed, and the technology’s overall usability.
